Silurus Software Kft. was founded in January 2017, though the idea of establishing the company emerged much earlier. Péter, who spent nearly twenty years in the industry, worked at various small and large companies in Hungary and Germany, mostly in leadership roles that provided valuable experience. Meanwhile, Linda dedicated her time to studying business development, sales and marketing. Together, they decided to leverage this knowledge and experience in their own company, Silurus. Now, they work with over 40 colleagues on software projects and provide management consulting services, aiming to build a long-term business symbolizing fairness, openness, and professionalism. Their goal is to create strategic partnerships with clients and find professionals to meet their diverse needs effectively. Recently they established a Singapore office to serve the Southeast Asian market. This move strengthens Silurus’s presence in the rapidly growing region and enhances their capabilities in quantitative financial services. Singapore provides an ideal location for strategic expansion, enabling the company to deliver innovative solutions tailored to local market demands, further solidifying Silurus’s international position and growth opportunities.
Péter Török, MBA
Co-founder and CTO
Péter speaks fluent English and German, combining his language skills with extensive expertise in the software and technology sector. He began his over two-decade-long career in Hungary in 1999 as a software developer. Quickly climbing the ranks, he demonstrated a commitment to effective management and leadership, holding positions such as software development team lead, project manager, and head of healthcare at evosoft. He also served as software development director at Siemens Healthcare for the syngo.via project in Erlangen, Germany. In these roles, Péter managed large-scale, high-budget projects with a hands-on, efficient approach. After returning to Budapest, he played a key role at evopro Holding Zrt. as the software development director, shaping the company’s software strategies. As head of R&D at Mediso Medical Imaging Systems, he showcased his leadership skills through the use of agile methodologies. Péter is known for his strategic thinking, practical leadership style, and efficiency in project management. His technical expertise in C++, C#, and .NET, combined with his proficiency in agile methodologies, further strengthens his comprehensive knowledge of the technology sector.
Linda Szántó, dr.
Co-founder and CEO
Linda is the co-founder and Managing Director of the company. As a strategic leader, she is responsible for overseeing sales, marketing, recruitment and HR processes, driving international expansion, and leading the digitalisation of the company’s entire operations. She is committed to building long-term, trust-based partnerships and is fluent in both English and German.
She holds degrees in law and the humanities (with a major in English), and her previous experience at an international law firm, at the national data protection authority, as well as in IT project management, all support her work in leading the company.
Linda is a consultant and advisory coordinator at the Faculty of Informatics, Eötvös Loránd University, in a project that supports businesses in digital transformation.
In 2024, Linda was selected by Bizalmi Kör, Hungary’s largest and most respected community of business leaders, together with Dun & Bradstreet, one of the world’s largest business information providers, first among the Top 10 and later the Top 3 female business leaders.
In 2025, she was honored with the highest distinction, being named Female Business Leader of the Year.
András Török, MBA
Head of Singapore Office
Andras Török is the head of the Singapore office. He has over 15 years of international experience in financial services, particularly in investment banking. He has worked in key financial centers such as Singapore and Switzerland with global banks, including Standard Chartered and UBS. Andras held mid-level management positions in strategy, prime brokerage, and institutional derivatives sales and trading. Alongside his professional achievements, Andras holds an MBA from INSEAD and has a passion for sailing and other outdoor activities. His international experience and deep industry knowledge make him a valuable expert in the global financial sector.
