Silurus at Medical Technology Ireland (Galway) 2025
We had the pleasure of attending Medical Technology Ireland this September in Galway. The event is recognized as one of Europe’s largest and fastest-growing gatherings for medical device design and manufacturing. The conference brought together over 350 global exhibitors, covering the full spectrum of advanced medical technologies. It’s not just a showcase: Medical Technology Ireland combines the exhibition with a two-day conference programme featuring expert-led sessions on innovation, market trends, regulatory challenges, and the future of medtech. Throughout the event, we had the chance to present our expertise in software development, system integration, and medical imaging, and to connect with many inspiring professionals from across the industry. We returned energized, full of ideas to explore and new collaborations to pursue. We’re looking forward to following up with those we met and continuing the conversation well beyond Galway.
Silurus Software at the Swiss Medtech Expo
This year, our company participated in the Swiss Medtech Expo in Lucerne, one of Europe’s most important medtech forums. We had the opportunity to meet industry representatives, innovators, and decision-makers, building numerous valuable connections, engaging in inspiring professional discussions, and gaining insights into the latest trends and developments.

The Leader of the Year award, founded by the Bizalmi Kör and supported by Dun & Bradstreet, highlights Hungary’s most outstanding business leaders each year. It is considered the most prestigious recognition within the Hungarian business community. The evaluation takes into account factors such as business performance, innovation, the application of digital solutions, team leadership and development, as well as social responsibility. We are proud that Linda has been included among the top female leaders for the second year in a row. This achievement confirms that Silurus Software builds on stability, professional expertise, and reliability – and it is also a shared success of our entire team.
Silurus Software among the most financially stable companies in Hungary
We are pleased to share that Silurus Software Kft. has received the Dun & Bradstreet AA (double A) Certificate, placing us among the top 2% of Hungarian companies in terms of financial stability and business reliability. Dun & Bradstreet is a globally recognized business information provider with over 180 years of history. It evaluates companies based on a strictly objective methodology developed by international experts. This certification cannot be applied for or requested – it is only awarded to companies that demonstrate outstanding performance and a strong business foundation. The rating is based on a comprehensive assessment of multiple factors. It takes into account demographic data such as the company’s age, number of employees, area of activity, ownership structure, and its evolution over time. It also includes a detailed analysis of financial performance, including balance sheet data, income statements, financial ratios, and trends. Dun & Bradstreet evaluates any negative legal or enforcement records that could affect operations, as well as the company’s payment behavior, such as punctuality in settling invoices. Finally, the assessment also considers macroeconomic factors, including the performance of the industry and region in which the company operates. For us, this certificate is not only a recognition, but a strong confirmation that transparent and deliberate business operations create long-term value. During our BIONNALE Tour, Linda had the pleasure of visiting Bayer Co.Lab Berlin – a brand-new space dedicated to early-stage biotech and life science ventures. She was welcomed by Bettina von Streit, Site Head at Bayer Berlin, and Ruth R. Shah, Head of Co.Lab, who introduced the group to their cutting-edge lab and office infrastructure, designed to support high-potential health innovations. From startup mentoring to access to scientific expertise, Co.Lab represents a powerful commitment to shaping the future of healthcare.
BeST @ Charité – Immersive Medical Simulation Tour
As part of the BIONNALE pre-event tour, Linda visited the Berliner Simulations- und Trainingszentrum (BeST) at Charité. Led by Unit Head Philipp Landgraf, she experienced a truly inspiring simulation hospital setup — complete with real IT systems, authentic medical devices, and even ‘immortal’ patients (realistic mannequins!). Their agile development approach, tested in such a close-to-reality environment, highlighted how innovation meets practicality in healthcare system design. A powerful insight into the future of clinical training and medtech prototyping.

On April 28, 2025, at the annual meeting of Medical Valley EMN e.V., Péter Török, Co-Founder and CEO of Silurus Software, introduced our company to the community members in Erlangen. Strengthening Cybersecurity Awareness – Preparing for NIS2
We’re pleased to share that our CEO, Linda Szántó, has successfully completed the training titled “Introduction to the Application of the NIS2 Directive”, held by the Faculty of Informatics at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE). She also participated in the “NIS2 in Practice – Information Security Regulations” workshop, organized by the Digital Government Development and Project Management Ltd. (DKF) – both events took place within the framework of the DigitalTech EDIH project. Although Silurus Software is not yet among the entities obligated by the NIS2 directive, we consider it essential to voluntarily and proactively prepare for compliance. Through these steps, we not only gain up-to-date knowledge but also contribute to strengthening cybersecurity awareness within our company, ensuring that we remain a reliable and security-conscious partner for our clients in the long run. We believe cybersecurity is not just about compliance, but a core value – an integral part of responsible operations.

In March 2025, Silurus Software Kft. has joined the Medical Valley European Metropolitan Region Nuremberg (EMN) cluster, a leading international innovation ecosystem in the field of healthcare management. Medical Valley EMN brings together over 250 members from industry, science, healthcare, networks, and politics to collaborate on solving current and future healthcare challenges. This membership provides Silurus Software Kft. with the opportunity to participate in the innovation projects and services offered by the cluster, supporting the company’s growth and international market presence.

Silurus Software participated in the MedTech Summit in Budapest, one of the leading medical technology events in the region. This year’s focus was on digital healthcare, artificial intelligence, and innovations in patient care. During their visit to the Singapore office, the executives of Silurus Software also visited the Hungarian Embassy in Singapore, where they met with Her Excellency Ambassador Judit Pach and Trade Attaché Péter Martonosi. The discussion focused on the potential areas of collaboration, as well as how the expertise and network of the embassy could support the company’s presence in Singapore. Péter and Linda gave a presentation at Óbuda University upon the invitation of IVSZ (Alliance of Digital Enterprises)
Linda and Péter, managing directors of Silurus Software Kft., were invited to an event organized by IVSZ, which focused on the digitalization of healthcare. The event, titled "Is MedTech Real Business for Us?", perfectly highlighted the challenges and opportunities the sector faces today. During the event, Óbuda University's innovative lab and equipment system, which actively participates in the development of da Vinci surgical robots, were showcased. Additionally, we heard fascinating presentations on the application of AI in Life Sciences, which has the potential to revolutionize healthcare technologies. Linda and Péter, as entrepreneurs with years of experience in the Hungarian MedTech market, shared their insights on HR and market challenges. This day provided a glimpse into the future of healthcare and reinforced our commitment to the MedTech sector.
